5 Things Every CrossFitter Should Own.
Today is going to be the first in a series of posts covering different pieces of equipment, as it pertains to that days workout. These are things that you should always have with you in your “gym bag”, a term I use loosely, that may mean on the floor of your car or a plastic vitamin world bag that you’ve had for over a year. Today’s essential item is a callus shaver! Didn’t see that coming did you? Yes, taking care of your hands is vastly underrated. Not only do torn hands suck for daily activities, they severely affect your training for at least a few days, which sucks even more. Listen to the guys at barbell shrugged talk about hand care and training adaptions over time. And go buy a callus shaver… or pumice stone… or whatever works for you to keep those babies smooth.
Skill: Spend 10 Min working on kipping technique through arch/hollow progression on bar. Don’t beat up your hands unnecessarily on this portion.
